Hi George. I was wondering if you could do your stallion research on Indian Ocean. I would be interested to know how he scores on your scale. thanks

Huh......What am I missing here? Why would I spend half a day or more researching Indian Ocean? Did I promise too and then go brain dead by completely forgetting....has happened before.

Generally, I get paid for what I research, but I thought that since Madelyn is such a positive addition to thoroughbred lists, I would do her a favor or not...if he didn't have much going for him...

Help me out here....what is there about him I should be researching him.

best, George

It was a simple question on what you think of him because some people on here were talking about him on a different thread. If you didnt want to answer the question, all you had to say was that you get paid for what you do. I agree that Madelyn makes a big contribution to this site. So that was nice of you to lend her a favor. But there was no need for a long drawn out reason as to why you shouldnt and wont give your opinion. But thanks anyway.

Yikes, what's the problem.....

I thought I said that it was possible I had forgotten to do something someone asked me to do and I said I would...ie. brain dead

in other words I had slipped up....highly possible with my mind the sieve it is.

but now that I know no one asked me to look at him, I'm not going to throw four hours of my life down the drain to satisfy someone else's curiosity. It is a fact of life that 92% of [potential stallions fail at stud so I must be very conservative on who I decide to spend at least 4 hours on and the cost of the race records, etc.

by the way I have been known to take up such requests and forget and the person has to remind me I promised them.
