thanks all.

Denise, the mare Quaga Lake, by El Prado, died shortly after giving birth to this filly, hence the name In Quaga's Honor. After the mare died, about 2 weeks after the foal arrived, the orphan had to be sent to a farm with other orphans where it was hand fed and raised with other orphans. That farm did a great job and IQH turned out to be an pretty nice filly. I think we haven't seen the best of this filly yet and now that we know she wants to go 2 turns it should be interesting to see what comes next. I think they may try the "A other than" next but I don't want her to win that at Philly as she is a Jbred and the purses would be much better, not to mention the breeders awards, in NJ. (The mare threw one other foal before IQH who really likes the turf and prefers to go long as well. At one point after an early win of his, an offer of 100k showed up for him, but the owner, a friend of mine, turned it down. He regrets not taking that offer.)
My stallion has another two foals at Philly, a 2 yr old named Made By Honor, (she worked 35 from the gate---wow) and another 2 yr old named Dead Money. Made by Honor may get a start in the next month, Dead Money is just coming back from bucked shins and probably won't start until late march or early april....
I have a beautiful, 2 yr old gelding, named Our Royal Affair, at Palm Meadows with Jason Servis and we like him a lot. I also have a couple of NY bred filly's by him that should start late spring so it is going to be very exciting the next few months. I can't wait for the next few months to play out. I hope I am still smiling in June.......
best regards Brendan
