Everyone is flocking to the proven mid-range stallions this year. You can waltz in to pretty much any unproven stallion with a decent mare.
The sales should be interesting in two years. I wonder if buyers will stick to buying proven sires or be tempted to venture into these unproven stallions that are getting next to ignored this year.

Well yes, but oftentimes the shareholder seasons that are "leftovers" are NG and a FULL STUD FEE NET.
