We will be there for sure...that sale is the best, for buying and for having a fun time. Rumour has it the night before "gathering" is going to be pretty good this year.

I was talking about the event they have in the tent the night before the sale. Good food and free drinks, and Todd from NYBS has told us there might even be some entertainment this year. We usually hang out there until the close up shop and then head downtown for some a couple nightcaps.

see you all there

He was listed as deceased by Gerry on a post on COTH.

One stallions was euthanized at the farm along with 3 other horses. At least one was a broodmare, others unknown. Another stallion was in bad shape and taken to (Cornell??) Univ. I don't know if he was the horse that died after the horses were seized or not. The rest of the stallions were taken to another farm. Not sure who all was left except Dunsinyne as I think she had another one listed as dead and sold at least one prior to all this. I'm afraid that Dunny is one of the dead ones, I hope that isn't true.

Summerhorse.
when did Gerry post this? Before or after she was caught?

The other one the died after the SPCA went in was a mare of Bridleobssessions. RIP poor thing. She just posted it on another thread!

I hope this is the last one to fall due to Gerry's cruelty. I hope she get charged for this one with all the other s that have died.

I'm getting a bit confused with the multiple threads and the various articles.

How many horses actually have died since the rescue mission was implemented or were reported in the months leading up to it? And do we know which horses actually have died?

So far we know about Des's mare which was before the rescue, and here you are saying that Gerry reported the death of Jelly Roll Romp somewhere else. Poor Dunsinyne had already been rescued from a bad situation - but do we know for sure that he's dead? And we definitely know about the mare owned by BridledObsession.

Can anyone clarify?

That my have been a reference to his 1/2 sibling, Jelly Roll Rock who passed away in 2005 from supposed laminitis.

Any word on Dunsinyne for sure? I helped "rescue" him and bring him to Gerry. Do I feel like an ass now. That poor horse has been starved three times now....They deserve better!!!! I have an interest in Dunny if anybody has any contact or knows were he is. He was plucked out of a cow pasture up here a couple years ago.

The identities of the horses have not been released except 2 boarding mares whose owners posted themselves. I'm guessing they don't even know most of them. Only 1 stallion is confirmed dead, 5 horses total dead or euthanized (2 mares, 1 stallion, 2 unknown). I think we won't hear for a while who died. Hopefully no more will.
