If it helps at all - we "LOVE" our little No Biz filly! "Strut" sure is fitting nicely into her name ;)

I'm glad you love your filly! I know nothing about conformation except GiGi has massively long legs and she's straight.... so I hope that she can add that trait to the foal. I expect it will be a plain brown color with some white, and will be given the name "Earthly Delights" since that is what my husband and most men would like to spend their lives enshrined in artwork doing.

He turned out just like I asked... except for the C mark on his head, I had expected more of a star but I'll take the C for Chris any day.

I've told you before and I'll tell you again - he's a keeper ;) He really is a cutie and you'll be thrilled if he gets Nobiz's temperment. I know Darby Dan used him for kids to pet he was such a sweetie. Unfortunately Strut got none of that and was 100% momma ;) I talked to her new owners this week and they said she is doing well and growing like a weed. I only hope they plan on weaning her from any and all buddies about a month before they plan to sell her or they will have their hands full!!!

GiGi will give Nobiz a run for his money, she's the sweetest, most loving and kindest mare. The foal is very friendly and when he was 18 hours old he would nicker when I'd say "hey baby" so I think he'll stay that way. He does not like it when she gets attention and leaves him out and she's in your face if you give him some. One of their other mares was nice enough to foal the next night so he gets to hang out with a Petionville filly in a few weeks.

I hope your yearling sells well for the new owner's. No telling what the market will do but hopefully it is moving back towards looks over pedigree!

Hopefully she sells well too. Her half-brother "Even" just won another one at Woodbine so that will help if he keeps doing his job :)
