Northern Dancer was very swaybacked. I'd avoid anything with him in the pedigree!!!
Ate his own poop, too.

A lot Hennessy's were just like him -- a big race, a few months of "minor problems" that kept him out of subsequent major races and then the "unfortunate" post workout minor injury that requires retirement. "Oh, what he could have been."

I looked at it when I was approached by several parties wanting to shuttle Rocking Trick to South America. An inordinate percentage of stallions who shuttle die young. I don't really know if it is the change in water, hay, grain, etc., the year round breeding, or the stress of travel and quarantine, but an awful lot die young.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
