I didn't realize she was Frued's first SW - but I was still thrilled about that race!

I knew that filly's momma, Flirt With Fame, from the time she was born...handled her dam & grandam, too. Flirt With Fame's foals are the only descendants of horses I knew left running out there (at least that I know of), so I love to see them do well.

oops did I say 07? LOL Sorry..but I have one coming in 07 too...different dam.
yeah he is a big guy, though so are his 1/2 sisters. his dams first foal is now a 16+h 2 yr old. in training goes 1000# with ease! and his yrlgin 1/2 sister is a MOOSE! Built more like an AQHA halter horse then a TB...these are full sisters to eachother.
I have a picture of me standing hold the 06 colt and his up to my chest...granted Im not very big but hes bigger at this age then his sister were, thats for sure!
Tairaterces- thanks. Nothing better then baby pictures!

lol yeah well since hes in NY and we are in Ohio...and this is the first baby I that I didnt foal at home. I was very excited to not only see him but to get lots of pics as I knew it would be 90 days before I would see him again. My digital was full and I had to resort to my camera phone....I was amazed how well it worked.
THANKS!

Freud's first stakes winner is also his second stakes winner.
Flirt For Fame won the African Prince Stakes for 3-y-o Mass-breds this afternoon....got it on a DQ. That's something of a family tradition; her mom broke her maiden on a DQ.

She beat colts in this one - but so did the other three fillies in the field. Only one boy cracked the top five.

I did see that...she must be a real pistol. Wins on a DQ of her stable mate. I guess if you are going to get taken down its rather bittersweet to have your stablemate win insteadPic of our boy from last week

If she takes after mom, she is. Her damsire Trench Digger threw real tough fillies (oddly enough, every colt by him I knew was a total mushpot...but his daughters....

). Her great-granddam was a tough mare, too, even well into her twenties.
That family 'tude plus the Freud ability is a good combo.
Your colt is stunning!

Momma looks lovely, too.

Do you know where Quincy Foriegn Car repair is ? They are an All-Kart importer. We race Karts nationally and raced with them for many years as well as was a dealer for their chassis from Italy. Neat group of people there.

Not by sight, but the phone book tells me they're over by the shipyards, a few miles from me.

It's a big town.
