Location - Europe: I've never seen one advertised so I guess it's a case of phoning around....

Any ideas?

I wouldn't know about Europe. Here in the US there are often stallions sold through the large cataloged sales at Keeneland or Fasig Tipton.

Does Tattersalls have that sort of thing over there?

Check with some of the more reputable bloodstock agents (... and yes, I am aware that in 99% of all cases reputable should not be used in the same sentence as bloodstock agent).

Also, often, bloodstock and sales people at the major stallion operations have connections throughout the horse world and can point you in a direction.

Finally, you can always contact some trainers (actually, if you can befriend an assistant trainer it might prove more fruitful).

There are horses out there... good luck.

Pierre: When in Rome you must do as the Romans do.

If your in the Euro theatre, you must purchase a stallion that descends from a family that has produced a prolific amount of sires of sires.

Dont purchase a stallion if he descends from a family that produces only BMS.
