Found some old posts about him. Anyone have any recent feedback? He's gorgeous, so I'm hoping his foals would be, too...

Thanks in advance! :D

The babies i have seen are SMALL.
There were 2 that went thru the Michigan Sale. I walked them both thru the ring for the farm, VERY SMALL yearlings.

Keri I dont know what horses of his you saw...I was at the farm in NY last Jan to pick up a horse. HH looked great and his then just barely yearlings were HUGE! HH is not a great big horse granted, Id say about 15.3h. I was in the stall with him for a few moments and he is a sturdy built animal.

Now I understand he might not be at that farm for 2007. I can ask to see where he might be headed if anywhere. HH seems to have found a nice stride in his foals as a few nice runners have popped up this season.

Hmmm... maybe late bloomers?? :?

I'm looking at him from the standpoint of a possible breed-to-race (if it works out) and/or just producing a good-looking, well-conformed TB that has a fairly nice pedigree (I know pedigree doesn't matter as much with pleasure horses, but...). So I'm not even thinking along the lines of a sale foal or anything, if that helps!

Just weighing out some options... thanks for the feedback! :D

well, I saw and handled MORE than 1.

http://www.mtoba.com/Sales%20Results.pdf

hips 42 and 77.. and hip 54 was NO bigger- probably smaller than 42 or 77..

looks like mtoba took the sales catalog off line.. Just the results are up now.

and I have yearlings of my own. These ones were smaller than any I have or have had in the past.... And they were fat and happy. One was even a january yearling.

Not sure how many you saw.. but all 3 of these were SMALL.

maybe its the feeding program then cause the BARNFUL Bill and I saw were HUGE! I'd say they has 9 or 10 Very nice looking horses all of them.

My Min filly is a beast and I can honestly say these I saw were in a few cases were larger then her. I know since the weather up in Verona is rough These may have been March foals.

Largest mare I have seen in the past year was by this sire. She RNA'd for about 90k down at OBSWIN if I recall correctly. Don't run into them very often.
