Indian Charlie’s lightning fast son Quigley will enter stud at Brian and Pamela Mandryck’s Breezy Knob Farm in Ava, NY for 2007.
Raced by Puglisi Stables and trained by Steve Klesaris, Quigley tallied six wins and four seconds in 13 starts for earnings of $175,164, including five allowance victories against major graded stakes competitors such as Grade 1 winner Peeping Tom, Grade 3 winner Absent Friend, and Beknown to Me. A winner at distances from six furlongs to 1 1/16 miles, Quigley recorded 90-plus Beyer Speed Figures on nine different occasions.
"It takes a special horse to run first or second in 10 of 13 starts -- and to win at five different tracks over five different distances," said Klesaris. "But that's Quigley; he gave a new meaning to the old saying about giving 110% every time. He was an amazingly talented individual."
Quigley is the first son of leading sire Indian Charlie to stand in New York. Indian Charlie is the sire of 43 stakes horses in his first five crops, including New York-bred millionaire and multiple Grade 1 winner Fleet Indian, a leading candidate for Eclipse Champion older mare this year, recent California stakes winner Cindago, and 2006 New York-bred stakes winner Indian Hawke. Quigley’s dam is eleven-time winner Scratch Dancer, by Naevus. Quigley is from the immediate female family of European Champion and prominent sire Shareef Dancer, Canada’s 2002 leading sire War Deputy and promising Kentucky sire Mizzen Mast.
Quigley’s stud fee for 2007 has been set at $2,000.

No Web site yet, but hopefully soon. There's a photo of him on the PedigreeQuery site. And the Daily Racing Form ran an article on him yesterday. I've cut and pasted it below:

Breezy Knob adds Quigley to stallion roster
By MICHAEL VEITCH
Quigley, a son of top young sire Indian Charlie, has been retired to stud at Brian and Pamela Mandryck's Breezy Knob Farm in Ava, N.Y., a few miles north of Rome in Oneida County.
A multiple allowance winner who won 6 of 13 starts at five different tracks, including Aqueduct, Monmouth, and Delaware Park, Quigley will stand for a fee of $2,000 for the 2007 breeding season.
Owned by Puglisi Stable and trained by Steve Klesaris, Quigley earned $175,164 and finished off the board only twice in his career, while winning at distances from six furlongs to 1 1/16 miles.
He defeated more than 25 stakes horses, including Grade 1 winner Peeping Tom at equal weights going seven furlongs, and Grade 3 winner Absent Friend while conceding two pounds.
Brian Mandryck credited bloodstock agent Mike Slezak for bringing Quigley to his attention.
"He's a gorgeous animal," said Mandryck. "He's kind of intriguing and he was a heck of a racehorse. He brings a little bit different bloodline to New York. There aren't many Indian Charlies out there right now, and he's hot."
Quigley will be the first son of Indian Charlie to stand in New York.
Indian Charlie, by In Excess, won the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby and finished third to Real Quiet and Victory Gallop in the 1998 Kentucky Derby. He is the sire of the top-class New York-bred mare Fleet Indian, a leading candidate for an Eclipse Award and highly ranked contender for the Breeders' Cup Distaff.
Indian Charlie is also the sire of Grade 1 winner Pampered Princess and New York-bred 3-year-old Indian Hawke, winner of the Albany Handicap at Saratoga. He is the sire of 26 stakes winners from his first four crops to race.
Quigley is out of 11-time winner Scratch Dancer, a daughter of Naevus who comes from an outstanding family.
She is out of the Vice Regent mare Clipsydra, whose dam Banderole, by Hoist the Flag, is a half-sister to Kentucky Oaks winner Sweet Alliance.
Sweet Alliance is the dam of Irish Derby winner Shareef Dancer, Kentucky Jockey Club winner War Deputy, and Zaffaran, a group-placed runner in England.
The family also includes Mizzen Mast, winner of the Malibu Stakes, and Dancing Champ, winner of the Massachusetts Handicap.
"We're a small operation and one of our criteria is having a stallion that is manageable," said Mandryck. "The word I got on him was that Quigley is a total gentleman, and it's true."
