I just saw his pic in the pedigree. He's quite pretty. Could probably earn a living posing on horse calendars. Not sure if it's the camera angle that makes him look like he's got a long back to me but for sheer aesthetics he's nice to look at. Reminds me of those elegant old prints of horses from the 1700s in terms of how he's built.
I was wondering if anybody looked at the pedigree just to see, even if you didn't have a mare to send or anything. Does anybody think it's a good idea to weave Secretariat in there? Like one of his daughters or daughter of a daughter,what have you. You'd be inbreeding to Somethingroyal for a Rasmussen Factor rather than just to Sir Gaylord twice like Grecian Pride's got now. I think it'd be fun to manage to get RF to both Somethingroyal AND Natalma if you could manage which is possible, find a different offspring of Natalma to weave in who's got Secretariat in her lines as well and ta da!
The female famile of GP is interesting. Some graded placers close up in the family and they've produced winners as well.
