Anyone have any comments on this sire, will his offspring stretch?

He's not a bad stallion and gets some hard knocking race horses. He is however getting old and a client of mine booked a couple mares to him last year and ended up transferring to a different stallion because he was unable to breed (due to arthritis) a couple times.

hi Foggytrip...hello Old Goat

He's about as handsome and impressive on the end of a leadshank as you might find...anywhere.

If two turns is your goal and you want to breed to him...I strongly recommend, select a mare that will likely enhance the chances of accomplishing that...

...if you're looking at something at the sale (by him) that interests you...and a two turn horse is your goal...I'd look to the dam's side of the page to hopefully inject the staying power.

Bottom line...I sense that the chances of him getting a quality two turn horse without significant help from the mare (that the horse is out of)...are slim.

What? He's 10 years old now.

What does that mean?

If you are inferring that he is now a Top-class sire...I say that's NOT the case.
