Going back to Walmac from NY. I guess he's gonna be neighbors with Songandaprayer and Successful Appeal. Just lookin' at the rest of Walmac's group, both KY and FL, they sure got some speedy guys in there don't they?

Those were some pretty bold comments, so I checked the last two year's breeding numbers for the three stallions...for argument's sake, I believe a stallion owner would be satisfied with about a 70% to 80% success rate. Anybody who knows better, please correct me if I am wrong on that one.
Statistics below are for foaling year.
Successful Appeal: '06: 85 mares bred, 59 foals (69%)
'05: 109 mares bred, 61 foals (56%)
Songandaprayer: '06: 178 mares bred, 111 foals (62%)
'05: 80 mares bred, 53 foals (66%)
Thunderello: '06: 46 mares bred, 24 foals (52%)
'05: 92 mares bred, 55 foals (60%)
First off, I said only two of them were in this post. Secondly, I know for a fact that one of them they like to keep the mares at their farm during their heat so that they can breed them because this stallion has swimmer problems. I worked for a farm where every mare that was bred to him had to stay at the stud farm for them to breed because of this. The one with arthritis problems I know for a fact because last year he lost some mares because of it. He has no problem getting mares in foal when he breeds them. Then the last one has no problems getting mares in foal he just does not want to do the job and takes forever to breed mares. Kind of like Hennessey. I never said any of them did not get the job done, they just have issues to go around to get them done. I will tell you this much, Songandaprayer is not one that I am talking about.
If I had a mare that would cross with Songandaprayer, Successful Appeal and maybe Thunderello (if I was breeding to race) I would book to them. The first two get good runners.
Here is another thread you can read about Thunderello and such.

Goat, forgive me, I guess I took your first post as being very anti Songandaprayer, Successful Appeal and Thunderello. I guess I took it wrong. The question is, if these "problems" exist but do not hamper their ability to "get the job done," why bring it up at all, or when you write it, why not ad the caveat that these horses ultimately get the job done?
I saw that you wrote on a different thread that Is It True is the horse in question with arthritis.
