Hunting Hard colt
We have a GORGEOUS Hunting Hard soon-to-be 2 year old, barn name "Badger" and registered name Hunting Money (he is out of Pyrite Money. He's a really big gray (well, black now but turning gray) colt with good bone and a nice forward personality - always wants to be in front. He is my personal favorite and is a bit of a sleeper - he's so big that it's taking him longer to come together, but there is just something about this colt that makes me think he'll do well at the races. I plan to keep him and race him ourselves because I think he'll be a blast and I want to try to get him a good show home when he's eventually done racing (he is handsome and smart and will have a great second career). We bought him at the OBS Aug sale as a weanling, and he had been weaned at the sale and kept charging the screen in his stall - he had 20 stiches in his forhead and had to be stiched up twice at the sale (that's when I started calling him "Poor little Badger" lol). He was scared (took us 2 hours to hose him in the hot weather here in FL!), but has come so far! He is very confident and strong and I'm just so pleased with him. Best of luck with his sire!
Here are some pictures of Badger: Home from the sale (with our Gulf Storm colt, Jesse who is 4 months older) http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i245/ ... =imgAnch24
I just went out in the field and took these - not the most flattering stance (hubby hates when I take pictures lol) - he is a big, elegant colt who moves effortlessly: http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i245/ ... h=imgAnch2
