Regarding Barbaro's 1/2 bro Holy Ground as a stallion prospect...I find (for starters) the Saint Ballado part of the equation particularly unappealing. Seems to me that all too often Saint Ballado disappoints as a sire-of-sires (examples: Captain Bodgit, Flame Thrower, Yankee Victor). And if that's not enough, HG's racing exploits leave me cold, when considering him as a stallion prospect.

That said...I could envision Holy Ground standing in a small regional market...for very little. The fact that he's a minor stakes-winning half-brother (by Saint Ballado) to the outstanding racehorse Barbaro, does not inspire me.
