Can anyone give me son's (either at stud or on the track) that are free of Northern Dancer or have only a single strand? I realise he's known more for his daughters than his son's but Dubai Millenium didn't do badly as a stallion from the small number of foals and Jazil and Bob & John had a good year. Any help would be appreciated

Mutakddim is the best of what others have listed, in my opinion. He hasnt had a big runner recently and you could probably get to him for a discounted fee.

Raisor's Edge here in WA has no lines to Northern Dancer.

We have had two colts by him out of our *Paranoide daughter, both are big, strapping, very correct colts. From a limited book he's produced some very nice looking youngsters - I can't say what they have done on the track, however. First crop (of which our older RE colt is one) are now four years old.

I was also going to say Raisor's Edge. http://www.washingtonthoroughbred.com/m ... 704902.pdf

Also Private Gold http://www.pedigreequery.com/private+gold. His first foals race this year and the ones I've seen are pretty nice-looking.

Seeking Greatness in Oklahoma would have foals with Northern Dancer at the fourth generation thru Hero's Honor. Currently the site's database is messed up regarding progeny of Seeking the Gold and several other horses.
