The mare was unraced and all siblings were unraced. Per the American Produce Records. Seeing that she is from AUS, the records might be incomplete, but that *might* be a warning sign. But certainly it will not bode well in the sales ring. Female family is generally very important, especially with unproven sires.

Vintage Song's produce record (record of her offspring) through the end of 2003. (She may have had other foals, and/or this foal may have raced and made money since 2003.) Perhaps someone else can pull up more recent records if they have them. It would be interesting to know her story as she was clearly in Ireland and Australia. Appears to be a "lady of the world"

I would agree with Ben that the colt will likely like the turf. Portland may be perfect for him to test his abilities. He *may* have speed, but his breeding and dosage profile indicates he will want longer. So he will likely require patience and time to find his best stride.
