Demon Warlock - would you breed to him?

He is in the database and is the last? tail-male descendant of Gallant Man at stud. Not much of a dam side to him. I read that his stud fee has come down to $1,000 and was thinking about taking a shot. He'd be a tremendous outcross.
Thoughts?

I think the female side is his weakness. I hope he is successful because I'd like to see the sireline survive. I think it will be tough for him in our WA market to get the good mares he probably needs.

That's my thought, too, but from the advertisements that have run he's being well-supported. If you have a stakes winner or stakes producer, you get to breed to him for free.
Any other thoughts on this one?

My very first thoroughbred that i bred was by the Gallant Man son Proponent. She was inbred to Gallant Man actually, and simply CRAZY. I lost her in a trailer accident. Pretty, chestnut, and what a temper.
Her name was Elegant Profile. You can look up her pedigree on here.

I have a Proponent mare. She's chestnut too, but she's an absolute SWEETHEART. Her prettiest days are behind her just because she's getting old, and we all know what that can do to your looks.

I don't see many other Proponent offspring, so it was really neat to read your post.

gosh, that sure looks familiar. And the picture is clearly a Proponent! His mares all looked alike. Everyonce in a while he would get an enormous one too! But mostly like him.. 15.2 or 15.3
