Any thoughts? Who has seen him?
We're sending a clients mare to Buck Pond Farm and figured we might as well send along one of our own since I'm hauling her down there. The farm recommended Seattle Fitz (ARG) for the mare Beeville (actually, she liked Hero's Tribute better, but the mare has cruddy feet and the farm admitted that wouldn't be a good thing with him).

I LOVE Seattle Fitz for smaller breeders. I've seen some of his weanlings and they've looked very good. He's a great looking stallion as well and you cant beat that family behind. I think he's a real sleeper.

I had a very big Seattle Fitz colt (yearling) until last Saturday. A pal originally bought a mare in foal to SF at Keeneland. He took her home to Indiana and thus he was an Indiana-bred (the mare was bred back to an Indiana stallion). Anyhow, his offspring are often big and on the raw-boned side. A lot of them turn out on the fore. They bring "nothing" at the sales. But an Indiana trainer beat a hasty path to my door with a roll of $100's when he found out I had an Indiana bred Seattle Fitz. If you breed to race, he is probably a good bet. Breeding to sell, pass.

Virtually perfect physical specimen... and I agree, his first crop have been real lookers. I bought a breathtaking one at FTK February...

Ditto. Very nice looking but hard to give away right now. Likely to be Buckpond's next Bernstein.
If they run like they look, then he'll be heading to a big marketing machine farm.

We have a bay Illinois-bred Seattle Fitz colt who turned a month old this week. He's attractive and refined with a decent amount of bone, and he is quite correct, at least at this stage! We are very pleased with him. We're in the breed-to-race crowd, and once I saw Seattle Fitz, I had no doubt that we needed to breed to him. Our colt also has a very forward and outgoing attitude, which I love to see in our foals.
