He was out here for a few years. He was a terrible, terrible sire. Surprising considering our love of everything Roberto

kanekomert,

Would you be willing to research the Turkish produce record of the American mare ABRASIVE, 1996, by Sultry Song-Abrade, by Mr. Prospector-File, by Tom Rolfe, who was exported to your country about five years ago? I own her 2001 Silver Deputy daughter and would greatly appreciate any information you could provide on her foals there. Thanks!

hunters prey's mom is abrasive. yildirim gelgin bought hunters prey. he started race life at 2005. he ran 12 race. he won one race at 8 F at dirttrack. he was at second, third, fourth one time. but he isnt average. he is poor i think. maybe he has problem at tendon or knee problem i dont know. but he has good pedigree. his father is eagle eyed. eagle eyed is danehill's self brother. popular demand won turkish derby at 2005. his father is eagle eyed.

Thanks kanekomert! I won't be looking for any pedigree help from that one! Is it possible to find out what subsequent foals ABRASIVE has had in Turkey, and who owns her??

abrasive's breeder Claiborne Farm. owner is Orhan Cem Gelgin. do you know win river win? win river win is best dirt track horse in turkey. and win river win's owner is yildirim gelgin. y.gelgin and o.c.gelgin must be relative. win river won 90-105, second gr-3, second gr-2 godolphin mile in dubai last year. yildirim gelgin is so important horse owner in turkey. he buys good mares from foreign countries. like abrasive:)

Thanks, kane! I believe I have seen Win River Win's name in the pedigree of U.S. Horse of the Year GHOSTZAPPER. Good families like these do well no matter which country they compete in! If I can help you find information on any U.S. pedigree please let me know.

kanekopert,

I wish I could offer you an intelligent response to your question, but without knowing more about Turkey's racing conditions, stallion roster, etc., I would only be stabbing in the dark.

Are you breeding for speed or stamina, early or late development, dirt or turf? Market or racing?

What stallions are available? What about the conformation of the mares and stallions?
