Late Season Breeding Deal

Postby Roguelet » Mon May 28, 2007 2:01 pm

We would like to get a few more late breedings to Indy Mood this year to get a jump on the influx of horses that are sure to come to Indiana in response to the passage of slots legislation.

Therefore, we are offering COMPLIMENTARY breedings to Indy Mood to approved mares from now through the end of the 2007 breeding season.

Indy Mood finished last year as the #9 ranked stallion in the State and had the 4th highest winners/starters percentage of the top 10 stallions; higher than Crown Ambassador, Presidential Order, Composer, and Waki Warrior! He accomplished this with the co-fewest number of crops currently racing, and was one of only 4 stallions to be in the top 10 with 20 or fewer runners in the year.

If you have a mare that you weren't planning to breed this year, or one that has come up empty when bred to another stallion, consider submitting her for approval for a free breeding and staying a step ahead of those who will start heading to the newest State with slots.

Also, if you have a mare currently in foal, and you would like that foal to be an Indiana bred but don't want to bring the mare to Indiana by December 1st, consider Indy Mood for your breed-back option. We are prepared to make SWEET deals on those as well.

For more information about Indy Mood or to submit a mare for approval, just give me a shout.

Thanks!

Just my nickle's worth. I think Indy Mood is a very good value even without the special offer. A very well bred stallion.

Thank you for the kind words, Bill and Thunder.

Karie: Yep, we're in there! Let me know how that turns out!

Sprucie: You're in NY? Well, ship on over! Actually, if you DO end up even considering it, let me know... I know of another mare who I would love to try to get over here from that general area...

deleted the original post since some people are tending to say I said stuff i didn't say..
Yes someone I know lost foals to e-coli.....
by PM'ing or e-mailing me I am not going to tell you the farm name or anymore info...

SOMEONE .... Is telling people that I said which farm it is and other stuff. BUT.. That is what is WRONG. I didn't say anything to anyone. I would like to see the proof that I supposedly posted or e-mailed.

Someone saw I mentioned e-coli.. blabbed a huge story and I am getting blamed for it.

This happened to me a long time ago when I posted a 3yo filly that was at the MEAT MAN'S house. Well.. I didn't post the horses name.. then got an e-mail of someone that wanted her name as a broodmare/riding horse and THEN that same someone threw a fit because the original trainer said she is not to race... and they threw a FIT because they wanted to race her.. I said NO. Not to race.. so what did this person do?? Of course they ran right out and called the trainer saying I was badmouthing him. I was not.
It was a sound 3yo filly that could have been a great riding horse but that person that threw the fit and ruined everything.. I had to get my horses out of that trainers barn because of this... It was a mess and still is..

This forum is a joke sometimes.

So sorry to hear about the e-coli. Thank the good Lord, we have never had that happen to us. About 5 years ago, I ran across a product that we have been using ever since. It is called Equince Coli Endotox. It says on the box it is for use in newborn foals as an aid in the prevention of colibacillosis and septicemia cased by K99 piliated Escherichia coli. Is that the same as what those foals died of? I wanted it to make sure we didn't lose any from septicemia.
