Johar

Johar sent someone to the hospital today at Millridge. Evidently, he has quite a mean streak.

Anyone have a Johar foal with an attitude? Ours is as quiet as a lamb.

Seems I read that Johar was not going to shuttle this year. Wonder if his disposition was a factor in that decision? Any details on the accident? Bite, kick, outright attack?

Heard he picked up a guy by his chest and threw him down to the ground. I think he was stopped before anything else happened. This came from someone who works at the farm since we board some mares at Millridge.

I will say his foals have legs for days though.

I really hate to hear this! I love Johar and went to see him last year, but couldn't afford the fee. I hope it was just a reaction and not everyday behavior. I didn't breed to Festival Of Light because of his temperament, and he was gelded after one yr. at stud. Also, I've never understood why people breed to known "bad actors" (like Silver Ghost) when there are soooooo many stallions to choose from.
