Sunday Silence Sire of Sires?

Postby oliverstoned » Thu Jul 05, 2007 6:57 pm

Wondering if anyone knows how his sons are doing at stud. Japan has so many of his sons why don't more Ky. farms make a play for them we've got so many Mr. P line mares that would love 'em. I know Silent Name will retire here and there is a couple of others but it seems like the demand would be there for a top one.

Tayasu Tsuyoshi has an oaks winner here in oz and his Genuine has possibly our best older horse in Pompeii Ruler. Bubble gum Fellow has a few good ones and so does Fuji Kiseki. Cesario was by one of Sunday Silence's sons and so is Delta Blue's

Should be interesting to see who close of Sunday Silence inbreeding they're going to start trying.

I just posted the Japan yearling and foal sale catalog on the Sales Forum. Many sons of Sunday Silence are among the stallions with offspring in it.

Second that, BDW. The galaxies might collide if those two mated.

Neat trick since Sunday Silence DIED several years ago. Dance In The Dark would be interesting. Personally, I'd rather see her bred to Symboli Kris S.

What bloodlines do you all think will cross well with the Sunday Silence gene pool in Japan? They are going to need an outcross at some point.
