Zanjero?

Postby bdw0617 » Sat Aug 04, 2007 4:21 pm

what do you guys think about him as a possible stallion prospect?

He's got a who's who of back pedigree, even though he's by Cherokee Run.. who's produced a couple of Middle Tier upper class 3YO's this year (Zanjero and Chelokee).. neither have any problem whatsoever with distance.... could be interesting

Zanjero has always been one of my favorites of this crop.

He's a nice stallion prospect. Even with the unknown stallion power of Cherokee Run, his family is anchored by the good foundation mare Square Generation.

This family has produced top stallion Awesome Again and good stallion Storm Creek. There's certainly enough class to give him a legitimate shot. I'd imagine his commercial ability will be directly dependent on what Kafwain does at stud.
Don't be so humble - you are not that great.

I imagine people will be keeping an eye on the other Cherokee Run sons at stud too--Yonaguska, During, Sir Cherokee, and Dream Run.

man the more I look at this guy's pedigree the more I LoVE This horse.

Espically his dam side.. it's a work of art.. I'm not the biggest Cherokee Run fan on earth (although that's changing) but I LOVE Runaway Groom
