Silver Deputy is ther sire of Silverbulletday as well as several Canadian champions. His son Posse sure was a great value at $12,500. His daughter Silvery Swan has turned out to be a great broodmare. For the money Silver Deputy is a bargain compared to Awesome Again another Deputy Minister son. How can you go wrong with Silver Deputy at $30,000.

I agree but fertility can be a problem. I would take a very fertile mare to him. I love him but that is the only reason I have not used him up till now. JT

I like Silver Deputy, but in the case of Silverbulletday, he rode on the mare's coattail.

Yes, the coattails of a mare who who's 8 combined offspring earnings when you take Silverbulletday out is $242,896... including one horse who earned $0 in 5 starts.

She was a cull who produced one great horse. She'll be better looked upon as a 2nd and 3rd broodmare down the line... but as a broodmare in her own accord, she wasn't anything special excluding Silverbulletday.

She wasn't culled - she was sold at the first Mellon Dispersal at Keeneland.
She was nothing special except for Silverbulletday, huh? Let's see a Storm Cat mare EVER produce a filly half as good! At this rate, Sharp Cat is gonna be a cull.
