Any opinion on him in terms of conformation?
Does he throw much substance?

He's actually one i've never seen in person but I can say most of his foals I see at the sales tend to have quite a bit of substance and bone.

For what it's worth, both Kafwain and Chelokee are big, strapping animals. If thats indicative of the typical Cherokee Runs, I'm not sure you can go wrong if you have a lighter boned mare.

I've seen him and bred to him. He does have very good size and bone and our Cherokee Run filly, currently eight months old, looks like she's going to be big and strong.

Very nice looking filly, LB. Best of luck with her. Is she headed to the sales ring or will you race her?

Thanks merse! If all goes according to plan, all our weanlings will go to the sale next Sept. as yearlings. We'd like to sell four and keep one--but we'll let the market decide which ones it wants, and keep the one it doesn't. If we end up with this filly, I'll be very pleased. :)
