Darby Dan Breeders' Cup Fantasy Stakes

Postby CS » Wed Oct 17, 2007 5:40 pm

Darby Dan has opened registration for their Breeders' Cup contest. Very similar in format to the TC Contest earlier in the year. Grand prize is choice of NG season to Suave in '08 or '08 BC tickets (for the non-breeder). Info at www.darbydan.com

Thanks for letting us know, CS, winning the first leg of the Derby Dan T.C. Challenge was one of the highlights of my year. Although you said you'd send me a hat too. I'd really love a Derby Dan hat to commemorate my win, because unfortunately I could not afford to frame the check, I had to spend it.

But seriously, these competitions are very enjoyable so thanks for putting them on.

Horse selections are now open! Don't foreget to include the winning horse and # lengths for each race - as this is the tiebreaker. Good luck!

How did you all do? I finished 21st or something like that. I did it a couple of days before and on BC day had Ginger Punch but in doing this eariler I went with Unbridled Belle that really cost me. I won the Filly & Mare Turf so that got me something out of the deal. I really like the format of that contest & sure wish drf would have one like it.

Congrats TomFool. I love those contests too. I won the Derby section of the T.C. one and it was one of the highlights of my year! I came 36th in this one (yes I counted!). Screwed up in both the sprints. Oh well. I'll look forward to the next one.
