Any thoughts on Rossini as a regional sire

Elite Thoroughbreds purchased him from Darley recently and his 2008 fee will be reduced from $4500 to $2500. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on him? I believe he stood 2006 in Kentucky and covered 58 mares. I was wondering about his confirmation and why he has moved around so much in such a short period of time. Thanks!

Throws very light-boned foals but I saw some that I thought looked racey. I sort of like him at that reduced fee.

Rossini

I own Guillaume Tell, a 5 year old son of Rossini. If you do a pedigree search on Guillaume Tell, I have a confirmation shot. Rossini was a pure sprinter, yet Guillaume Tell could get a mile+ against top company when healthy. A tendon issue has compromized his career. I wish he could have helped out Rossini more in this country, as he's been the only runner thus far in the US, I think.
I think Rossini will be a top LA stud. Darley acquired him because of his relation to Elusive Quality when Smarty Jones appeared on the race scene. It didn't take long for them to give up on him.
Good Luck

Elusive Quality didn't exactly burn up the track after Smarty though.
