Let's see...North Light's fee is halved from when he first went to stud. So is Touch Gold's fee. NO WAY Red Bullet should be standing for $10k...he went to stud at $30k and has been falling like a stone ever since, and so far his kids haven't done a thing. Based on his results he should be standing for $500 with a money-back guarantee. It is difficult to justify Giacomo at $12,500 with Macho Uno at $20k.

Hard luck to everybody who bred a mare to El Prado at $125k, since his fee has fallen 40% between 2007 and 2008.

I rather like Silent Name at $7500. I think he is a good horse who wasn't quite Gr-1 quality but could put up a good run. I also think that something happened to him in the Met Mile--he was never quite right after that.

Sligo Bay is well-priced and starting to get some runners. I think Kentucky may have kicked him out too soon.

Who on earth is Aristocrat and what has he done to justify a $5000 fee? Ok, so he's a full to Ghostzapper, but come on, people, he didn't even outrun his conditions.

I like North Light but not anywhere near the fees selected for him. Really I do. He's got lovely breeding and will appeal to a select bit of the market...and has NO BUSINESS standing for anything higher than $10k.

Stronach was thinking that a champion son of a multiple champion sire out of a solid female line would be a sure hit. He was going for the same thing with Silent Name, which didn't quite work out.

Aristocrat is a 5 year old tiny little full brother to Ghostzapper, he ran 17 times, won 3 and earned 122k. Frankel trained him but looks like the horse just wasn't ment to be a racehorse.

What do think? Mach Uno seems reasonable at $20,000 given the current market.

Wilko looks about $9000 too high.

Alphabet Soup now in Florida... that's interesting. Good value for Florida breeders.

I think Silent Name is very competitively priced at $7500 and could be the one to watch.

Like Macho Uno a lot. Would have liked him even more at $15K.

I LOVE El Prado at $75K, but the rest are so darn high! So much for not squeezing the commercial breeders this year.......

I kinda like ARISTOCRAT at $5,000. He is not a bad horse, he's just not his full brother on the track. He's a full brother to a horse standing for $150k, for $5k. what more can you ask for?

He's an extremely small horse with no blacktype. He has no business at 5k. At least with Mr. Sek you have a better chance at a great looking foal since he is such a great looking horse.

By looks and pedigree, Mr. Sek is the better deal at 5k, if you want to call it a "deal". He's from a female family where even the under-achievers can get a damn good horse at stud.

I don't understand what people are thinking. Aristocrat? $5k are you joking. He isn't even a stakes winner! I don't care who his brother is. You can get a lot nicer horses for 5k than him.

I didn't say I would bred to him, what I'm saying is what else can you do? If he's not fit to run anymore, you don't put him on a farm somewhere... he has a market, and 5k is pretty much bottom of the barrel for his farm
