Seasons Auction

Postby Roguelet » Fri Nov 16, 2007 6:48 am

The ITOBA auction is up to 101 seasons now; all are listed here:
http://www.itoba.com/2008%20SSA%20List.html

Auction terms and conditions are here:
http://www.itoba.com/SSA%20Terms%20and%20Conditions%2008.htm

Most of the seasons have been listed on Starquine as well, although they still have several to add and a few corrections to make... hopefully all that will be fixed today.

I am still receiving donations almost daily and will continue to update the list as donations come in.

Lots of late donations coming in... we're up to 114 seasons now and counting. They're all listed on the ITOBA site now, and I just got off the phone with Starquine; they're working busily to get pages set up and activated for each season as well.

I'm told the seasons will all be up on Starquine later today. Meanwhile, each season has it's own link on the ITOBA page so you can check pedigree, farm where the stallion stands, etc. If you've checked recently, don't forget to refresh the page... it's changing constantly!

Rog, what is the deadline for stallion season donations. The form faxed over to us says "please fax or mail by November-7th,to be included in the catalog"... So 17th or 27th????

That's not our form... must be a different auction. But, I'd be happy to fax you one of OUR forms! Or, you could print one from here and fax it in: http://www.itoba.com/Stallion%20Season%20Donation%20Form.htm

We'll take donations until the auction begins... acutally, we've even had donations come in after the auction starts before.

Starquine said they had everything up Friday, but there are still several missing... I don't know if they forgot to activate them or what the problem is, but I'll be on them in the morning and we'll get it corrected.

Meanwhile, I just had 6 more donations come through so I'm going to add them to the ITOBA list today, and I will send the info. to Starquine so they can be added there in the morning as well. That brings our total to 120 now.

Rog...you are dealing with Starquine....you dont really think they are going to do anything FAST do you? there are horses listed on there from 3 yrs ago that have been sold for at least the last 2 1/2 yrs. Old owners have requested they remove the ads...its never happened.

heck the one filly listed on there I bought 11 months ago...yep still listed for sale even though the old owner and I have both requested she be either marked sold or removed. NOPE still there.

I just tried to link into a couple of the stallions to take a closer look, but no luck. But I DO like this format better than some of the other auctions, so I guess you just bear with it . . .
