I saw this son of Sunday Silence (Hip 5164) sold for $3K--huh??? Was he infertile?

Yes he was sold for $3K and Wild Deputy went for $1K.

Austinpower (Jpn)? My business partner and I sent Wee Like U to him his first year in the USA, he was in KY at the time at Hurstland. She got in foal on one cover. We sold the resulting foal as a yearling at Timonium and got 35k for her. Her name is Make Us Happy.

I saw he was moved to FL and I e-mailed the farm, they said he hasn't caught on and were disappointed. If my business partner hadn't passed (bone cancer) I think we would have gone back to him if he had stayed in KY or moved to NY.

Austinpower (JPN) is listed in the '06/07 breeding year as 11-5-2, and then in '07 as having covered three mares. I imagine that was pretty disappointing.

I know, firsthand, how hard it is to get a stallion a book of mares.

Wow, I didn't realize he had been sold and left FL. I remember the billboards for him when we first moved to Ocala 3 years ago. I thought he was a hot stud, but I guess he never caught on. Too bad. There are so many here, and it can be hard to know which ones will "make it"... I hope he does okay where he is!
