...And can his foals compete in North America or is he simply a solid Southern Hemisphere sire?

Ok, Roke, with that in mind, would breeding a mare named Ubi Star to him represent pursuing the "Mother Lode" or just chasing "Fool's Gold"?

Doubling up on Busanda through Buckpasser is common with a Buckpasser inbreed/linebreed, but with Busanda as a female tail and not through Buckpasser on the double up, you'd wouldn't be hitting the Mother Lode - you'd be hitting the Sutter's Mill - go west, young man! :D

Inbreeding Busanda

Postby hpkingjr » Tue Dec 04, 2007 8:53 pm

When I checked the data base there were 284 horses listed as inbred to Busanda with 29 stakes winners. If you're going to inbreed to Busanda then name the foal beginning with the letter "T". There were 21 horses with "T" names, six were stakes winners. Who would've known?

Although they plan on waiting to announce his fee until after the BC, Castleton Lyons has implied that his current fee may stay the same. However, they are currently accepting mares and will have a waiting list.

Yeah ; that's the same thing they told me when they put me on the waiting list yesterday. Was just curious what everyone else thought. Thanks Irish

Bernstein's full brother, Certain Storm, stands in Pennsylvania for $2,500 stands and nurses for those interested in the PA-bred program.
