Toboggan As Tail Female?

Postby UmmYeah » Fri Dec 07, 2007 3:36 pm

Does anyone know of any stallions with Toboggan as the conduit mare? The family is 3-l. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if any of Davona Dale's sons are still alive & at stud, but they would be tail-female to Toboggan.

Most of the other 3-l stallions are from the Uvira branch of the family.

Hi

Actually, the conduit mare for this branch of family 3L is Toboggan's dam, Glacier. She is also the conduit mare of Citation and Gate Dancer as well as Davona Dale. The Davona Dale sons, full brothers Le Voyageur and Macau (by Seattle Slew), ended up at stud in Venezuella. Their half sibling Feel The Power by Raise A Native stood in West Virgina with decent success.
Off hand I don't know of any other current sires tracing to Glacier through Toboggan.

Thanks Bill and KBEquine. I also discovered that Lemon Drop Kid is 3-l, though not through Toboggan, like Citation, Gate Dancer, or Davona Dale.

CURRENT STALLIONS: Just a Cat and Agincourt

http://www.pedigreequery.com/just+a+cat

Grade 2 winner.

Standing at Calmar Stables and Ranch in Calmar, Alberta

Agincourt is at stud in Australia.

Hardwicke Stud Yass NSW 2852 AUSTRALIA

The horse Ambivilent Force (not a typo) was from the family, but I don't know what happened to him. So was Le Voyageur, but he died. So was Weigelia, but I don't know where he is.

Thanks La Troienne for the info on the two stallions. I'll update my list.
Lemon Drop Kid traces to the conduit mare Rambling Rose. Some others that trace to her are, A P Indy, Cloud Cover, Deerhound, Eavesdropper, Honor Grades, Islefaxyou, Raja Baba, Shualiaan, Summer Squall, Tiger Ridge, and the broodmares of the year, Weekend Surprise, and Toll Booth. Another segment of this family is through the conduit mare, Dark Lantern, who, like Glacier, traces to the mare Corrie Roy, making this branch a little more closely related to the Glacier group, than Rambling Rose.
