So the dude got a pretty good one this year.

Interesting that he has hit on The Axe II and Never Bend which is what Montbrook has done well with also.
Why do you think breeders do not pay attention to this enough and send mares that have the right credentials to him.
Seems like cheap blood to me with the possibility of good returns.

I have been thinking about visiting him in person. He really moves up his mares so I wonder what it is about him that scares people away?

Visit him - I liked him. His babies race better than they sell, but they DO race. If you are breeding commercially, he's hit-or-miss, but you might get a sale baby.
IF you want a racehorse, he's definitely worth a visit, to see if he matches your mare.

There are so many possibilities with him.
Here is a hypo I created that would be real nice

Has owen tudor in lite the fuse for danzig. courtly dee and buckaroo are genetic relatives. just seems like if you send the right kind of danzig and never bend you probably would do just fine, maybe not in the sale but at the races then possibly the sale
how well does he move his mares up if someone knows?

According tp the 2008 BloodHorse Stallion Register, Lite the Fuse's AEI = 1.40 and his CI = 1.25[/quote]

So as long as the AEI exceeds the CI he is moving his mares up, correct?
