Five Star Day

I have an opportunity for a good deal on a breeding to Five Star Day, I had actually almost forgotten about the horse since his running days. A friend wants me to partner with him and send a mare. I've never dealt with the people at Wintergreen. I know FSD's auction prices are all over the board and they dropped his fee this year. Not looking for mating advise, just opinions on the horse and the farm.

I'd be all over that with the right mare. In fact, if you decide to pass, you could pass it on to me.

Short of finding some God-awful plague that resides there I can't see passing, especially since my friend will do all the work. From the looks of his auction results a decent mare will pay her way. We wouldn't take less than a stake mare or producer.

I haved a graded stakes producer I would send.

I get very good numbers on FSD and I would recommend him highly. He does well with early maturing types. Good luck. You could select much worse than him.
