stands now in France.

Do you know why he left America?

I am looking for a stallion in France. Can you recommend him?

I don't know for sure. But the way Ashford Stud (Coolmore America) operates their first year stallions to over 200 mares, if they don't get a "big time" 2 year old in the first crop they usually move them while there is still interest in other markets. Also, his better runners were doing so on turf and that's usually the kiss of death in the US for a lower priced stallion. Look at what ashford did in recent years with Van Nistelrooy, Black Minnaloushe, Bianconni, High Yeild.

I actually saw Hold That Tiger for a couple of days when I worked at Ashford when he was a weanling. It was after they bought him (I think)and were shipping him over to Ireland. He was pretty cute and laid back for a baby in a barn by himself.
