That's the strangest hind leg movement I've ever seen. Looks like he's goostepping only in back.
What was his injury???

The left hind has some issues. Normally I would say arthritis, but that's not it.

Yikes, left rear. Doesn't even put weight on it when standing. Hope they got a big supply of bute for him for the breeding shed.

[/b]Wow he is sore sore sore. I was there in Sept & he looked fine?? Poor guy. I know he had a ton of soundness issues when racing. He is a big horse.. but very good looking. You would have to wonder how the hell he will hold up breeding mares.

I personally do not believe he can breed mares in that condition!!
There is definitely something wrong in his backend. I know I would not take a mare to him after looking at the video. JMO

I once rode a dressage horse who moved like that. It's been a long time, but I think it was somthing wrong with his tendon (or ligament, whatever goes up the back) between the hock and the hip.

Yeah, I watched the vid again and just find it odd (and offputting) the way he moves. Indeed he looks sore!

I don't think it's nuts. But I doubt they'll do anything other than explain it away and assure you it won't be a genetic thing. I'd research his injury though.

Dang I hate those all bold posts. You would really only call and ask them if you were thinking of sending a mare, in my opinion.

Sorry about the bold but sadly i am blind as a bat and find them easier to read..lol
I had been in touch with them about him, and Badge of Silver.. but decided due to his size that he was too big for the Regal Classic mare we have. We have since bought another mare whom i could enquire about him for.
