Afleets Dancer?

Has anyone heard the real story on why this nasty guy was put down. There are some interesting tales, but what are the facts? Losing a great old guy like Ascots Knight has me thinking of him, although he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath.

I've heard so many different stories (some sounded like a good plot for an action movie), I don't think there's too many people who know the real story. I heard about it in the morning at Fort Erie, pretty much what I was told (from a source that would know) is that he attacked Andy and they put him down, they didn't really go into more detail than that. That seemed to be the end for the farm.

Sad really. Nice runner but had not as of yet thrown anything outstanding. :(

I figured he'd get Andy one day, but the farm's been circlin the drain since day one. A movie would be good but nobody would believe it.

Good god. I guess I should be happy that he's not dead or mamed, but maybe he is gelded. Nice guy, but a loser in the shed, and banana bows that would take your breath away. The history of those stallions reads like an emergency room board. Colic/dead after a few mares:Not Impossible, ruptured testicles (kicked by mare on first breeding: The Judge says who, Colic/ship Slew valley and poor Afleet. Good riddance to the farm.

Yeah I kind of agree with you barnchick

I too had heard that he savagely attacked Andy and a p/u truck. Not that I condone this but I'd also heard many remark he had it coming (Andy that is) - he was pretty rough with the stallions himself.

Too bad they didn't put Andy down. One of the worst people I have met in the business. It's such a pain in the ass suing someone in Canada when you live in the U.S.

The correct spelling (or, rather, spacing) is A Fleets Dancer.

el camino, it's just as much fun the other way around, suing someone from the U.S. that is
