Wow, I sure wish I could just buy anything I wanted no matter the money. LOL or have something said person WANTED! Although I guess just being able to acquire anything kind of takes the sport out of it doesn't it? :?

Darley continues building its stallion roster...yeah it would be nice to say, "Hey, I like your horse, here's xxx million for him/her." When you got the means....and Darley does have the means...

If Pyro would race at four...possibility of racing over in Dubai???

Adore this horse's pedigree. Amazing female family who has proven to get nice stallions with limited opportunities.

I think US antitrust laws should apply. This guy is just buying every top class stallion prospect. I am a small breeder and used to have a great relationship with them which I felt was mutually beneficial as I sold some good Darley sired horses but the last two years they have been impossible to deal with. Anybody else had this same experience? I guess if your holding all the cards why cut a break.

a concern, but i'd think you'd have to see what they do over the long haul. really, where would racing be without the sheiks?

I'm also a small breeder and I only have good things to say about my dealings with Darley. I have always found them to be fair and very accommodating. I also think their stallions provide very good value for their stud fees. I'm delighted to see Darley add to their roster and I hope their success in the U.S. continues.

The more Darley grows it U.S. operation, the more toes it will step on here. One breeder told me he had trouble getting to a certain Darley stallion in '08 and was asked to breed to multiple, less desirable Darley stallions in order to get to the one he actually wanted.

That being said, think of the money that Sheikh Mo has poured into this industry. He is a net positive, to say the least.

I breed a handful of mares each year. I have NEVER had any kind of trouble nor difficulty in dealing with Darley. As a matter of fact, I'm sending half my mares to their stallions in '08. In my dealings they have been nothing but professional in all aspects of the business.

Thats what happened to me..The antitrust part was a joke, by the way...Just wondering if people were having similar dealings with Darley this year. I only had good things to say about them prior to 07 as well.
