I heard a rumor that he had colic surgery this weekend but can't find any articles about it... anyone know anything?

I think something happened as I read on another list that someone who bred a mare to him was scouting for a replacement if she didn't take saying he'd be out most if not all of the season. I hope he recovers quickly.

I've been away and had not heard this news. Anyone know exactly what happened or have any updates?

Thank goodness we have a yearling SCS filly out in the paddock right now--I love Slew, he produces real gamers, and this filly is everything we were hoping for. Get well Big Guy!
