Is there a list anywhere of likely first year sires for 2009? I'm sure it'd still be part speculation at this point, but just trying to start preparing for next breeding season.

Thanks,
Justin

Big Brown
Heatseeker
Curlin (possibly)

There are a few others that escape my mind right now that are either scheduled to be retired/have been retired/or are rumored to be retired after this season.

Buzzards Bay has been retired recently. I wonder if he would have any appeal at all, even being a GRI winner.

Wynn In Command to Sarepta, Louisiana Fanlew Farms. He is the full brother to Cash's Girl who won her last 3 stake races & the 3/4 brother to Afleet Alex & Unforgetable Max. Yes, the Jockey Club has stated we can call them 3/4 brothers.

Weigelia has been retired waiting to find out where he is going... He was a stone cold sprinter, beautiful pedigree, hopefully to LA.

Buzzards Bay was supposed to come to a new farm in Pennsylvania, but is staying in California. Don't know what farm, though.

I'm gonna guess Midnight Lute might be part of that--either that or he's gonna spend a large amount of time trying to have the season in 2009 that he thought he'd get in 2008.

What's Tiago doing?
