Polish Miner to Bar C in Hermiston, OR

Postby PG29 » Wed Aug 06, 2008 2:40 pm

I am pleased to announce that Polish Miner will be relocating to the Christopherson's Bar C in Hermiston, OR. Stud fee for 2009 will be set at a later time.

I want to thank Allaire Farms for everything they have done for us over the last 5 years while working with them. I wish them luck and success in all their ventures going forward.

We feel that this will give us a new opportunity with the breeders in the Northwest to breed to Polish Miner. We bred 50 mares to Polish Miner this year and we are hopeful that we can do the same or more in Hermiston since it is right on the Oregon Washington border.

I want to thank the Christophersons for giving us the opportunity to work with them.

Greg,

Good luck. Some of us in Maryland are very sorry he is gone. I think Northview was too hasty in sending him west. What a pedigree!

Merse,
We feel very fortunate that we were able to bring him out West. We had a great year with him and there is no reason he won't continue his success. We had his full brother Polish Gift that got off to a great start with his first crop Multiple Stakes winner Margo's Gift. We lost Polish Gift so we went out to get Big Brother to finish what little brother started. I think Polish Miner will be one of our leading Stallions in the Northwest for years to come.

Thanks for the nice post.
