Anyone taking notice of Stroll's hot start at stud?

11 starters, 8 winners, and 3 stakes winners.

Considering the small size of his first crop, he's doing great! Maybe well enough to warrant a return from Italy?

Yes he is doing well, but if Italy bought him he is gone, I guess we have to find another one.
Thanks,

Two sure ways to make a young stallion, let him die in a tragic accident or sell him overseas.

I believe he was leased to a farm in Italy.

Got another winner against special weights in Louisiana. I think he's 9 for 13 now with 3 stakes winners. His winner last night got left at the gate and still ran them down to win under wraps.

I was atr Claiborne last week. According to the stallion groom they have every intention of Stroll returning in 2010.

Best news I've heard in a long time. Maybe During or Strong Hope could fill in for him in Italy for 2009.

Strong Hope did not race as a two year old and it seems many of the broodmare sires of the mares he got were slow maturing so why would you think he needs to be sent to Italy now?

The established pattern seems to be to send a sire out of the country without ample time to prove himself. If they were to move to Italy, chances are, one would have a big runner.

It just seems that that is how things go for Claiborne.
