This is why i should never read the ads on craigslist!

He's about an hour away, and there is not on bit of commercialness to his pedigree. However, all you RF fans.... look at the inbreeding to Papila (and of course, Crimson Satan)

And, "free to proven race mares"....what is the definition of "proven race mare", I wonder?

Let us know if you go see him!

That pedigree reads like a fractal.

i happen to have a Aljabr (Storm Cat) filly that would add Terlingua into the mix again... but enough of these wild experiments. Fascinating theories indeed

It is an interesting pedigree, but why in the world would you want to breed to him. His sire line is poor, he raced once and was unplaced. Poor old Pancho Villa ended up here in Texas where he was just a good regional sire. What characteristics would you want from the inbreedings? They should pay you to breed your mare.

Seeing all those historic & influential names still within 5 generations is amazing!

GAINSBOROUGH, SELENE, BLANDFORD, etc.!!!

You definitely don't run across them that close up anymore. It's unfortunate that it showed up in a family that hasn't been able to reproduce itself very well in the last few generations. :(
