I was looking at an old copy of Hewitt's Sire lines published in 1977 and as I looked at the Native Dancer article, I noticed that there was just a brief mention of Raise A Native and his son Majestic Prince. It made me remember how the RaN line came to prominence to the point where there was one in every stallion barn and then how his son Mr. Prospector rose to prominence (sp). Then when I looked at the leading sires in last week's TB times Mr. Prospector had 3 out of the first 5 stallions. That say's a lot since we are in the era of Storm Cat. Its starting to look to me like Mr. Prospector will be around longer than Storm Cat. I'm guessing that MP and Northern Dancer are the two most breed influencing stallions of my time. What do you think?

I agree Mr P is going to be around along time. I also think the Storm Cat influence isn't going away anytime soon. It will be here and continue thru some of his sons.
Thanks,

Kathy
