A handsome boy of the Northern Dancer type but the worst stall walker I have ever seen, bar none (not that my experience is all that extensive). He has seemed pretty high strung on the occasions that I have seen him at Bridlewood -- not nasty, just anxious and with more energy than he knew what to do with.

Now you get to figure out my age.
But I BROKE HG! I'll tell you, I'm seriously tempted to FIND a mare to send to him - for sport! A lovelier temperament (not meaning the stall walking) you won't find. Kind, willing, smart, a real sweetie who just wants to please. Yeah, I could see him turning to walking to burn off the mental energy. I hate walkers, but I loved his movement. Very aptly named. He did (literally) glide when under tack (as a notsogawpy baby).
Think they'd change their minds and send him further north? :P

Honor Glide

Yes, I have Honor Glide here. He has no bad habits, and most stallion handlers would give up a weeks salary to have such a well mannered stallion to work with. He is not only beautiful, he was a fabulous runner and is throwing runners consistantly. He has a G-1 champion and G-1 winner and a multitude of runners at all levels. He has done this without huge crops. I think he is a terrific asset to the LA program.

As far as stall walking I haven't seen it at all. However we are a quiet farm. Maybe he will walk if he is nervous. But not yet!

He is on enicks and if anyone has interest give me a call or drop me an email. Get an A nick will give discount. bring me multiple mares I will give consideration.

We are proud to have him.
Thanks,

Kathy

Glad to know he is settling in well. The only times I have seen him are at open houses, so maybe he was simply hyped and anxious because of all the strangers milling about and upsetting his routine; some horses handle that kind of disruption better than others.

Maybe Honor Grades threw that nice temperament.
You could not ask for a sweeter, nicer stallion than Gone Fishin either.
They also look similar. He will stall walk if he get anxious or very upset, but that is not often.
Hopefully he has as great a success from his small crops as Honor Glide.

Here is a pic of Gone Fishin. They are so alike except all the white legs.
