Anyone see any of his foals? He had King of the Roxy last year.

Another Ro Parra horse moving to La (in addition to Millennium Wind). I guess Parra struck a deal with 519 TBs to take his reject horses?

I kind of like Littleexpectations and can see the logic of moving him to offer a lower priced alternative to Valid Expectations. Plus his foals have sold their best in TX. However, I think $2,500 is too high for his stud fee. At an advertised fee of $3,500 last year in Ky he got 20 mares. That was in a bigger market, a better economy and he was hot off King of the Roxy. Plus, his yearling average this year was $1k (yeah only one horse actually sold, but the RNA prices were craptastic, too). The 2yos sold better this year, but in '07 they averaged $8k (this year it was $15k). If they offered him for $1,000 that would offer some value to breeders.

I haven't seen him in person, but would like to. His conformation photo doesn't do much for me other than his huge hip that I really like.

But, overall, I like him but am leery of him b/c I think his fee is high for breeding to race (I think you'll be able to buy one of his cheaper than you can breed one) and commercially, I just don't think he's a safe bet. Too many misses at the sales, a lot of La trainers dislike the Valid Appeal line which is not going to help, and he's a KY reject.

But that's just my thoughts - I'm curious what others think!
