Any opinions on him as a breed to race sire? Has anyone seen him or his foals? What type mare would he work best with, has he nicked with any particular line? Thanks.

I think he is one of the best breed to race sires for the money anywhere. He was a G1 winner & produced a G1 winner & year after year he moved up the small amount of mares he bred. He obviously nicked well with the Darn That Alarm mare that produced Silver Wagon as his full bro Rehoboth was a racehorse as well in banking over 500k. WL is not a real big horse but is very balanced & I was impressed enough with him to breed a mare to him this year while he was in LA. She is by Successful Appeal. Its also worth noting that Wagon Limit carries no Northern Dancer blood & looks like a prime outcross for ND line mares. I was sad to see him leave LA.

Thanks. I plan on cutting back on breeding next year, but will still breed one or two mares, and I need to stick with a proven horse. He looks like an interesting one. I think Ill go look at him this weekend.

I like him, didn't realize he moved to Bridlewood. Where did Holy Ground go by the way?
