Opinions on him? He seems to have a diverse group of running 2 year olds.

He may be on the move. They fielded an offer not too long ago from what I understand. It was a little low for them but if they're willing to bite, he could find a new home.
Great looking horse, though.

From the New Stallions to PA thread:

Thanks for this information. I wonder why the reduction in the fee and the move? His 2 yo's seem to be winning early, on the turf, long, etc.. I don't notice a lot of promotion for him though, as a casual observer.

Sorry..probably an inside joke but I'll respond anyway!! LOL
I have seen him when he was in NY.
I must say I agree that he was very nice looking and I don't say that too often.
Although, I thought he was too fine boned and had smallish feet.
However, he was very "fancy". I can see why people thought he would do well commercially. Plus, Hennessy was hot with Johannesburg.
I remember the people saying he didn't retire sound but had some leg injury. Forgot what it was though...
I actually went up there to look at American Chance who I absolutely loved but everyone was out drooling all over Wiseman's ferry. Whatever.
They should have left him in NY and he probably would have been ok.

He stood this year in Kentucky. Maybe you are confusing him with another stallion.
I wasn't impressed at all by his start at stud. The quality of mares he'll be getting in Pa. will pale in comparison to what he's been bred to in Ky.

His 2 year old "Kick On" won the Jean Lafitte last night at Delta Downs. This is the prep race for the $750K Grade 3 Delta Jackpot.
