Partner's Hero

He is going back to Northview (after standing at Castle Rock Farm this year) but will be at its new Northview-PA facility in Peach Bottom, Pa.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what they think of his conformation - I am sending my mare to him in the spring, and she is very correct. Also any other comments would be appreciated!

Hi Bohemia,
I got to see Partner's Hero at both Northview and Castle Rock. What surprised me is how big he is, given a lot of Danzigs channel the N. Dancer size. PH's size belied his speed! He gives the impression more of a router type. (Rimrod, also a Danzig son, was also at Castle Rock, and is more ND: shorter coupled, a smaller rugged, like a welterweight.)
PH is a nice looking individual, and a very tough, territorial stallion. We were warned to steer clear of one corner of his paddock for a reason.
What is your mare's breeding?

Hi Denise,

My mare is by Malibu Moon (out of a mare by Raised Socially) ... she is a good size herself, about 16 hands. I like Partner's Hero because, at a $2,500 stud fee, I think he represents a great value.
